We are excited to announce we have recently had success with two grant applications!
QBE Foundation have generously granted A Brighter Future $10,000. Throughout its long history, QBE has played an active role in the communities in which it operates. In 2011, QBE launched The QBE Foundation, supporting charities that help people overcome disadvantage, strengthen their abilities, and live more independently, successfully and productively.
For the second year running, A Brighter Future has also received $10,000 from the Commonwealth Bank Community Fund. Since 1917 the CBA Staff Community Fund has been supporting the health and wellbeing of Australian children. Thanks to the generosity of CBA staff who donate to this Fund, CBA are able to assist thousands of Aussie kids each year.
We gratefully accept these funds, which will go toward more equipment and therapy for Qld kids with CP.
In MORE exciting news, we have been advised that ABF is the chosen beneficiary for funds raised at WODstock Crossfit competitions occurring across South East Queensland in coming months, and at Hi-Lite Events' Alfa Romeo Charity Pro-Am Ball to be held at Royal Pines in October. All this is very exciting for ABF and we thank those individuals that have put our name forward to be worthy recipients.
