A Brighter Future joins forces with Qld Youth Orchestra to raise funds
Come join us for a fun night out on Sat 23rd August, celebrating youth arts in Qld while supporting kids with cerebral palsy.
A Brighter Future is inviting you to attend the Queensland Youth Orchestra’s performance of Holst’s The Planets at QPAC’s Concert Hall, followed by an after-party at the nearby Fish Lane Studio at The Fox Hotel.
Tickets are $100, affording you premium seating for the concert, and alcoholic refreshments with delicious finger food at the after-party. All proceeds from the evening will help ABF assist Qld children with cerebral palsy through much-needed therapy and equipment loans.
QYO is Australia’s major orchestral training and performance organisation for young musicians aged 9 to 25. The Queensland Youth Symphony (QYO) will perform a program of cosmic proportions, including Holst’s monumental classic The Planets, and a shimmering concerto with European tuba virtuoso Andreas Hofmeir.
Afterwards, join us a short walk away in the Fish Lane Studio, to enjoy delicious food and beverages, great music and an exhibition by local photographers. We look forward to sharing the evening with you, informing you of what ABF has been up to for the past twelve months, and our future plans!
Plenty of tickets are still available, but not for long – please email Jodie ASAP at firstname.lastname@example.org to secure your place!
